Kit

This kit has been designed to provide the user with a simple way of remotely monitoring and controlling pool’s chemicals. Particularly it reads pH, ORP, and temperature. The pH readings are automatically temperature compensated. Using these measurements, free chlorine and chlorine monoxide are automatically calculated.

All data is uploaded to a cloud where it is captured descriptively and graphically in information readable by smartphone, tablet and computer.

The Wi-Fi kit comes with all necessary components for operating autonomously

Dashboard

The Wi-Fi kit comes with build in software suitable for:

How it works

The KIT reads:

• pH
• water temperature
• ORP (redox)

The pH measurements are automatically temperature compensated.  Using these measurements, free chlorine (CL) and chlorine monoxide (CLO2) are automatically calculated.

All data is uploaded to the e-IoT.eu platform, where it is captured in a readable format by smartphone, tablet and computer.

The kit contains all necessary components for its autonomous operation:
sensors for temperature, pH and ORP and power supply.

Alarms

If measurements exceed the predetermined limits, the embedded alarm is then activated and alarm messages are sent via e-mail (notification).
The alarm messages also appear on the software application on a smartphone, tablet or PC.

Additional possibility

The Wi-Fi kit can be combined with a smart plug for automatic activation and release of disinfectant liquid.

Data Hierarchy & Offsets

Block

The Block is the unit that includes all the sensors in a pool. It groups the monitoring points and enables monitoring at a glance.

Management of Devices, Sensors and Actuators

The communication devices with the sensors and the actuators are registered in a Block, during registering and activating a client’s account on the e-IoT.eu server.
The components of a Block belong to a single client.

Dashboard (Block)

A Block is displayed on a Dashboard. It includes values and historical data of the sensors (pH, ORP, CL, CLO2, temperature etc.). It groups data and displays the Alarms. A Dashboard can be linked to other Dashboards and reports.

Map (Dashboard)

A map is a representation of kit’s data on a screen (controls more than one pool at a glance). The Blocks of the system can be displayed with a representation of their alarms.

Communication Device and Device Software

Device Description

The communication device is in a box with IP56 specifications (Dust and water protection).
The power supply is 5V with a mini USB cable.

Device Software

The device software, not only manages the sensors, but also communicates with the Server.

Dashboard report

It captures the values of sensors and actuators in a Dashboard.

Setup report

It is produced when configuring the device after connecting it to the network.

Communication with external systems

A report is generated when a device exchanges information with other devices.

Automation and Remote Control

Automation and Events

While the Wi-Fi kit is working to monitor the pool’s chemicals, four actions are done which may be automated if required as well. These are:

Sensor calibration event

Many times the sensors’ values need correction to be accurate. We can intervene to calibrate the sensor values.

Alarm control event

We set the limits of the sensors, outside of which an alarm will emerge.

Remote control event

We have the possibility to remotely turn on or off an actuator.

Decision-making event

After an operation cycle, we can set up processes to automatically turn on or off an actuator based on predetermined values.

For the kit’s functionality,
the user must have an account with the e-IoT platform
